Tenea Intriago is a Portuguese-American character actor with grandparents that immigrated to the U.S. from a region of Portugal: The Azores. She was born of a Portuguese mother in an immigrant city of Portuguese people: Fall River, Ma. Tenea is part of the LGBTQ+ community, is non-binary, and uses she/they pronouns. Tenea's television appearances include starring on Overthinking With Kat & June on AwesomenessTV, Claws on TNT, Castle Rock Season 2 on HULU, Law & Order: SVU on NBC, and many more. Tenea is currently partnered with Saudade Theatre (the first & only theatre company in the US dedicated to producing original & thought provoking work grounded in the Portuguese-American consciousness.) In the spring of 2020, Tenea produced and wrote a one-person show alongside Saudade about her life and Portuguese experience titled: Preheated. In the summer of 2021, Tenea & Saudade brought the play to Louisiana, and it was highly received. Saudade & Tenea have plans to bring Preheated to New York City.
