Alyssa Cheatham is a multi-talented child actress and singer and has already accomplished so much in her young career. Alyssa stars in the Nick Jr. pre-school animated series titled 'Santiago of the Seas,' voicing the role of Lorelai - a 150 year old singing mermaid, who can also transform into a young pirate girl! 'Santiago Of The Seas' debuted in the Fall of 2020 and broke a Nickelodeon ratings record, as the highest watched show in the category of kids, ages 2-5 years old and was just renewed for a second season! Alyssa also has a recurring role on HBO Max's series, 'The Flight Attendant,' starring Kaley Cuoco, Michiel Huisman, Rosie Perez, Zosia Mamet, Colin and T.R. Knight - to name a few. 'The Flight Attendant' was released on November 26, 2020 and immediately became a favorite among viewers, being named TV's Top 5 by The Hollywood Reporter. Alyssa also voices the lead role of Maddie in the highly anticipated pre-school series, 'Made By Maddie,' in which Alyssa stars as 8 year old Maddie - a fashionista and designer from NYC, alongside a stellar celebrity cast. The show was set to premier on the Nick Jr. in the Fall of 2020 but has since been put on pause, until further notice, according to Nickelodeon. As an established actress and voice over artist, Alyssa has filmed 11 movies to date, is the voice behind some of the worlds leading brands, has appeared in various national commercials, and is the voice behind several globally recognized brands. She recently began voicing the role of cub Amy, for Charmin. Alyssa also lends her talent and voice to TV shows and movies. Alyssa's talent as a vocalist is a skill that helped her land various film, television, and voice over roles. Her third single, 'Do It Big,' is available on all digital music platforms. Alyssa's most recent film, 'Cicada 3301' is distributed by Lionsgate and is directed by Alan Ritchson. In this film, Alyssa plays a worldly and quick-witted pre-teen, who forms an unlikely bond with her neighbor, who is being targeted by the United States government for treason, espionage, and other criminal activities. Alyssa is most notably known for her role in the Warner Bros. feature film, 'Collateral Beauty,' where she stars as Will Smith's daughter. 'Collateral Beauty' was directed by David Frankel and also stars Edward on, Kate Winslet, Naomie Harris, Helen Mirren, Keira Knightley, Jacob Latimore, and Micheal Pena. The young star also has supporting roles in three movies that are on Netflix now - 'Private Life,' 'Irreplaceable You,' and 'Land of Steady Habits.' She also co-stars in an episode of 'The Good Cop' alongside Tony Danza, Josh Groban, Monica Barbaro, and Isiah Whitlock Jr. Alyssa began acting at 3 years old and landed her very first film, 'Every Secret Thing,' that same year. Every Secret Thing is directed by Amy Berg and stars Dakota Fanning, Danielle Macdonald, Elizabeth Banks, Diane Lane, Common, Renee Elise Goldsberry, and Nate Parker. Alyssa plays the role of Rosalind, daughter to Cynthia Barnes (Renee Elise Goldsberry), whose safety is of concern.
Additionally, Alyssa earned the title of Creator, when she hosted a viewing party for Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards 2020, in partnership with American Dream and Nickelodeon Universe. In doing so, Alyssa was asked to dream up her own viewing party and created the first ever virtual red carpet experience for an awards show. She integrated her love of social media and interviewed influencers and celebrities on Instagram Live, while thousands tuned in to watch them walk the virtual carpet. It was a huge success.
Alyssa loves to sing and realized her love of performing as a music artist, when she went viral at 7 years old. She participated in Monica's "So Gone" social media challenge and the singer posted her original song on her page, along with many other bloggers. She has recorded songs for Sesame Street Workshop and appears in an episode of the iconic Sesame Street, in Season 49. She has performed for major brand executives, including Haddad Brands and at coveted venues, including Radio City Music Hall, to name a few. Alyssa is highly articulate and uses her platform to inspire young kids, teens, and adults to live life on their own terms, create their own unique path, and dream in color. Alyssa is an ambassador for several organizations that speak out against bullying, sheds light on the importance of mental wellness, and encourages kindness.
