Nathan Lynn
Nathan Lynn is a South African actor. He holds dual citizenship in both South Africa and the United Kingdom.
Nathan spent much of his childhood living abroad. He spent two years living in a remote part of Tanzania before returning to South Africa to start formal schooling. Two years later, his family moved to Bangalore, India where he attended The Canadian International School. After spending six years in India, he returned to South Africa to finish high school at Cornwall Hill College in Pretoria.
Nathan developed an interest in drama at school, performing in a number of school plays. Upon graduating high school he initially wanted to study journalism at Rhodes University but was encouraged by his parents to audition for the University of Cape Town's Theatre and Performance program. Only after being accepted did he decide to seriously pursue a career in acting.
He graduated with a BA in 2014 and began working in small theatre productions in Cape Town. In 2015 he was nominated for a Fleur Du Cap (Cape Town's theatre industry awards) for most promising student. He twice performed at the National Arts Festival in Grahamstown, South Africa and received a Standard Bank Ovation award in 2015 for his work in "Raiders!" with Nicholas Ellenbogen.
His first television role was a small guest appearance in "Dominion" (2015). His most prominent roles include "Deep Blue Sea 2" (2018), "The Kissing Booth" (2018) and "The Last Days of American Crime" (2020).
Nathan is currently based in Vancouver, Canada.
