Daniel Burman
Daniel Burman is a director, producer and screenwriter with more than ten feature films in his career. For his work as an author/director he received more than 100 international awards. He is currently CEO at Oficina Burman and Head Of Content at The Mediapro Studio US. In 2014, he created Oficina Burman, a content factory that ventures into the television and platforms industry. In 2015, he co-produced with the Brazilian company Globo -the most important network in Latin America- Supermax, an ambitious project that was recorded for three months in Rio de Janeiro. A year later, Netflix chose Oficina Burman to develop and produce Edha, the platform's first original tv series in Argentina. In 2019, he created Victoria Small. It is based on an original idea by Erika Halvorsen and Daniel Burman for Telefe VIS. It has been nominated for an International Emmy Award and winner of the Rose D'Or Award, which already has a second installment entitled Pequenas Victorias. At the beginning of 2020, Amazon Originals announced the production of Iosi, El Espia Arrepentido, (Yosi, the Regretful Spy) a thriller inspired by the homonymous bestseller by Miriam Lewin and Horacio Lutzky, directed by Daniel Burman and Sebastián Borensztein that opened the Berlinale Series in the 72nd edition of the Berlin International Festival. Since 2017, Oficina Burman has been part of The Mediapro Studio.
