Claudia Kai
Claudia Kai (born August 25, 1998) is an Asian-Canadian actress based in Vancouver, British Columbia.
Kai was born and raised in Richmond, British Columbia until the age of nine. She then lived in Hong Kong for seven years, studying with a full-ride academic scholarship at the French International School 'Victor Segalen' of Hong Kong. There, she had been a competitive figure skater. She had gone up to ISU Level 8 and then became a competitive ice hockey player. She went on to win City Leagues and Championships, represented Hong Kong in tournaments across Asia, and won 'Best Defensive Player' and 'Most Valuable Player' in 2011.
In 2014, she moved back to Canada. In 2016, she graduated with academic awards and honors at Kitsilano Secondary School.
She later went on to study English, psychology and religion at the University of British Columbia with a full-ride academic scholarship.
After two years of university and offers that catered towards a path in law, she decided to dedicate time on pursuing a childhood dream - being an actress.
Outside of acting, Claudia Kai is an avid fan of the outdoors, sports (including skating, swimming, yoga, martial arts), reading, and watching movies and anime. She speaks fluent English and Cantonese, and is proficient in Mandarin and French.
