Angela Dixon currently stars as detective George Parker in Howard Ford's 'The Lockdown Hauntings' with horror legend Tony Todd aka The Candyman. Currently available in the UK, USA and multiple other territories with a number of theatricals yet to be announced.
Angela is an award-winning actor best known for her leading role in Howard Ford's action thriller 'Never Let Go' (winner of Best independent Film, UK National Film Awards. Distributed by Sony Pictures [USA], ICON [UK]) where she wowed audiences and critics alike with her "Oscar-worthy" "Powerhouse" performance of a single mother battling against the odds to rescue her kidnapped child. She won Best Actress at the Artemis Women In Action Awards in LA.
She also won Best Actress for her role as the victim of domestic violence who's young son runs away in Marc Zammit's "Homeless Ashes". Other recent leading roles include the head of a deportation unit in Tom Paton's Sci-fi thriller "Black Site", the speedway mom in Howard Ford's "Adventure Boyz" and a teacher in "Missing A Note" a deeply moving film about dementia with Ian McElhinny and Elaine Paige.
Angela will soon be seen playing a marriage counsellor in Tom Paton and MSN Media's 'The Assailant' with the wonderful Poppy Delevigne, Chad Michael Collins, Jeff Farhey and Casper Van Dien.
