Richard French
Richard French is a third-generation native Southern Californian from Long Beach. His media- and acting-related training is extensive and includes former CBS Producer Tony Barr's Film Actor's Workshop; private instruction with the late Susan Strasberg and Mitchell Nestor, former director of the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York; and three years with Film Industry Workshops, formerly associated with CBS/MTM Studios in Studio City (now commonly known as the Radford Studios). Richard has also worked extensively with independent film producer and director Roger Mende where he gained experience working both behind and in front of the camera on several of Mende's films. In the mid-1990s, Richard completed his formal education, earning an associate degree in art from Los Angeles City College and a bachelor's degree in communications from California State University Dominguez Hills. Around that time, he also entered the field of professional public and media relations and worked for the city of Los Angeles in that capacity for about 20 years. Richard is now intensely focused on acting and has appeared in numerous film and Internet projects, as well as stage productions.
