She spent her early childhood years in Panama, Central America, Richmond, VA and other surrounding cities on the East Coast and South. She claims Richmond, VA and Memphis, TN as her hometowns. Carrie is an award-winning actress, stunt-woman, and producer who also dances, does taekwondo martial arts and is a current professional athlete. She speaks 6 languages. Learning Spanish as a child and picking up Mandarin, Chinese, French, Russian, and Latvian in her late teens and early adult years from immersion in these countries. Carrie has been in several plays, musicals, and professional performances on and off screen in front of live audiences of over 10,000 people. Carrie is most known for her character, the Banshee on FOX's Ultimate Tag, Marvel's Black Panther, Marvel's Avengers: End Game, The Wolf Family Treasure, CBS Seal Team and more.

She recently wrapped a pilot along side rapper Tyga, actress Elise Neal, and more. Carrie also has produced a few short films and a current web series out called, Figuring it Out that she also co-wrote on. AND, she animates voices on animated films/tv shows and video games. Carrie Bernans was born on February 11th in the Hopewell, VA area with the magical enthusiasm and talents she is known for and where change became an early yet conquerable constant for her as a little girl. Carrie grew up poor-of-goods and wealthy-of-mind to two parents that soon split while she and her sister were toddlers. With a single-parent teenage-mother and an early nomadic lifestyle from Virginia to Panama, Central America, back to Virginia and to the townships along the Eastern and Southern U.S. coast, these childhood experiences reflectively prepared Carrie for extensive independent traveling and coaching abroad in Shanghai, China; Paris, France; London, England; Ghana, Africa, and Berlin, Germany, which contributes greatly to her storytelling. Carrie looks forward to continuing more travels abroad, discovering more of the world, and learning more about her African culture which she holds and values dear to her.

Carrie is a multi-level, frequently solicited motivational speaker, and influencer of brands. She is further differentiated by her language fluency. Therefore, be careful where you are and what language you are speaking, because Carrie masters the speaking, writing, and understanding of principal languages for global exchanges and story-telling, to wit: Spanish, Latvian, Mandarin Chinese, French, English, and Russian speaking for years from immersion in these countries and the friendships/relationships she's built internationally. Having thought of herself as the black girl, James Bond, and after years of studying Theater, Economics, and International dealings in high school and college, Carrie performed in plays, dance recitals, had Fortune 500 internships, and competed in track and field from middle school through the pro area. (Carrie networked and trained even as a high school student with real investment bankers and accountants as her mentors to do Merger & Acquisition simulations on the Vanderbilt, Emory, and Columbia University campuses.) Carrie is always eager and always ready to conquer anything the world throws her way. She believes in eating challenges for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
