Bill Phillips
Bill Phillips can be seen as Mr Pike in the Keola Racela comedy-horror film Porno the Movie (Amazon Prime). IndieWire calls it, "Pure pulpy cinephile fun, the breakout of last year's SXSW Film Festival!" Bill is perhaps best known as Reverend Jenkins, Frank Underwood's (Kevin Spacey) hometown minister, a recurring role on the Netflix series House of Cards. He can also be seen recurring as H.L. Mencken in the Amazon Prime series Z: The Beginning of Everything, in NBC's Shades of Blue (opposite Jennifer Lopez), and in the new Rob Meyer film Little Boxes (Tribeca Film Festival/Netflix). Bill is a character actor at home on stage and screen and comfortable in both dramatic and comedic roles. When he's not acting Bill enjoys collecting vintage typewriters, beekeeping, and traveling with his wife. They recently returned from their seventh humanitarian trip to Bosnia where they've led groups rebuilding homes in the post-war country. Bill was most recently seen on the New York stage in the Off Broadway premiere of the new Michael McKeever play, After, at 59E59!
