Rosie Keogh is an Australian Actress, most recognized for her work on screen as Ella in Psychological Thriller 'Dark Origins' and as Ellie in Drama Thriller 'Shiver,' both for which she won multiple Best Actress awards nationally and internationally. Rosie was born in Mackay Queensland, Australia and is the daughter to John Keogh, a Motor Mechanic and Jani Young, a Creative Arts Therapist and Yoga Instructor. Her father's family originates from England with roots in Germany and Denmark. On her mother's side her grandparents grew up in Hackney London with connections to East Anglia England. Rosie grew up in small community of Crows Nest in the Darling Downs region of Queensland, Australia. Studying dance from the early age of eight Rosie became accustomed to stage performance. Once in high school she discovered her love of acting in drama classes, and from the age of fourteen was taking outside lessons in musical theatre and film acting. It was during this time that Rosie was cast in a local feature film in 2006 titled 'In Hopes Arms' and shortly after in 2007, a short film titled 'Toms Wake.' Rosie graduated High School with high marks in both English and Drama studies. She went on to continue her studies with a Cert II in Creative Performance in 2008 and graduated with an Advanced Diploma of Arts (Acting) in 2012. Since graduation Rosie has been cast in numerous Australian films, television series, TVC's, short films and web series. Her first professional role was Diana in ABC Tv's 'Parer's War' in 2014, since she has gone on to work alongside iconic Australian Actors and productions. Starring as Jane Tier, alongside Martin Sacks in Channel 9/Gem feature film 'Rise,' in 2015's emotionally charged short film 'Last Words' alongside Charmaine Bingwa, and in 2017 was cast in one of Australia's longest running television series Channel 7's 'Home & Away.' Rosie also regularly works behind the camera as a professional Photographer and Producer.
