Jonathan K. Riggs
Jonathan K. Riggs is an actor and singer. While in college, he performed in "And The Winner Is" at Opryland USA in Nashville. After graduating with a bachelor's degree in music from Belmont University, he began a career in music publishing while earning his MBA from the Massey School of Business. At the same time, he was singing regularly and raising four children with his wife Lara. After his music publishing position fell victim to the Great Recession in 2010, he had a short stint in healthcare IT before deciding to turn away from corporate life and began a full-time pursuit of his acting career.
Jonathan has studied extensively with Caroline Locorriere at the Nashville Acting Studio, as well as many workshops with industry experts in the Southeast. He considers Audrey Moore, Bonnie Gillespie, and Wendy Alane Wright as some of his show-business mentors. Jonathan is a proud member of SAG-AFTRA and is an active participant of the Nashville Local. In addition, Jonathan regularly uses his performance talent for training medical professionals, social workers, and business executives.
Jonathan's performance highlights include a supporting role in "The Clovehitch Killer" with Dylan McDermott and a principal role in a national commercial with NFL personality and former Cincinnati Bengal Cris Collinsworth. He makes a great quirky office guy, white-collar professional, or laid-back dad for comedy or drama. He continues to invest in himself and his career and is ready for his first leading-man role for an indie film and television guest star. Jonathan resides with his family in Nashville and works throughout the country.
