Thomas Wingrich
Thomas Wingrich, born in 1973 in Halle (Saale), studied acting at the University of Music and Theatre in Leipzig and at the Schauspielstudio of the Staatsschauspiel Dresden. From 1997 - 2000 he worked as an actor at the Kammerspiele Magdeburg. 2001 he started to work as a freelance artist in Berlin, he played in various theatres like the Tribune Berlin, the Kleines Theater Berlin, the Theater Bregenz, the Theater Putbus, on tour with the Theater des Ostens, many classical leading roles for the ensemble Klassik am Meer, and since 2008 regularly at the Berlin Criminal Theatre, among others as Christopher Wren in A. Christies "Mousetrap". He acted in numerous television productions, as for example in "Ein todsicheres Ding" (starring Eddy), in "Liebesau - die andere Heimat", "Hinter Gittern", "1943" (Major Schwarz), "Weissensee", and in some cinema films. In addition, he produced since 2007 a number of readings and audio books, and since 2010 he is a guest lecturer for acting at the Theaterakademie Vorpommern. He worked as director of theatre on the isle of Usedom, in Quedlinburg and in Berlin.
