Dave Campbell
Dave Campbell is an actor, artist and musician, best known for Fist of the Vampire, Bound by Blood: Wendigo, numerous releases from his previous band "Ashes to Ashes", and for owning "Rockstar Studio Tattoos". David Frederick Campbell was born on April 17th, 1971 in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, the second of five children to Kathleen M. Kassanitsh and Paul L. Performing became important early in life, when he started playing the trumpet in elementary school and imitating his favorite stand up comedians in front of his family and classmates. Starting his first band (Ground Zero) in 1988 with a few high school pals, and playing ever since, he spent 17 years as the drummer of east coast favorites Ashes to Ashes, recording 9 full length releases. He still performs, records and tours with his two latest musical projects, "Silk9" and "Sovereign". He also has his own signature line of cymbals and is endorsed by Soultone Cymbals. His acting career started in 2007, when a friend asked him to audition for a new film written by Len Kabasinski. Always dreaming of acting in addition to being a musician, he jumped at the chance. The result was his first role as Agent Dawkins in "Fist of the Vampire. Since then he has been part of 7 films, from an extra in "Out of the Furnace" to supporting character roles in many other films. Dave is the father of Paul Campbell, who also acts and plays drums and guitar, and can be seen in "Perks of being a Wallflower", in addition to touring with one of his bands "The Harvest Colour", "The Amplifiers", or "Tobacco Road". Dave resides in his home town of Hopewell, located in Western PA, approximately 30 minutes from downtown Pittsburgh, and spends most of his time working. He enjoys home improvement and building projects and studying the martial art of Tang Soo Do.
