Destiny Faith Nelson
An actor, filmmaker, and activist, Destiny Faith has the audacity to fully absorb our beauty and unveil our scars. Through her work, she graciously gives us permission to be human, no matter what human you are.
Artists are the windows to the soul. Destiny believes that through art, we can truly expose the complexities of humanity. Her unique ability to capture vulgarity and vulnerability as an actor has been recognized by jurors of the 48 hour film festival by awarding her "Best Actress" for her role in the femme fatale film "Last Round" in 2019. Her art in exposing the truth and honesty, even in outlandish and hilarious scenarios has also been recognized by Broadway World with her recent nomination of Best Leading Actress in a Play for her portrayal of Jo in "The Legend of Georgia McBride".
Along with filmmaking and directing, Destiny travels around the country, speaking and working with a youth, outreach group, Toe Tag Monologues, to help the inner-city children, teens, and teachers of America find their voices as well.
