Tessa Hart
Tessa Hart is an Afro-European screen and stage actress, director, writer and producer. On screen Tessa Hart has appeared in feature films TRUMPED (2019), Symbiotic (2020), Darker Shades of Elise (2017), I am Cursed (2014) and C.O.O.L.I.O Time Travel Gangster (2014), short films (such as Eve, 2016; Unusual Victim, 2011; Mind Games, 2011), TV and web-series. Furthermore, Tessa Hart has also performed on stage extensively at theaters in London and Berlin. As a director, Tessa Hart has directed short film The Big Day (Godiva Films, 2017), as well as critically acclaimed theatre productions; and as a playwright they have contributed to the anthology Hear Me Now (Oberon Books 2018), among others. Tessa Hart is a co-founder as well as co-director of The Bread and Roses Theatre in London (UK) - an award-winning and innovative Off-Westend theatre. Furthermore Tessa Hart is the Artistic Director of film and theatre production company Goblin Baby Co. They have worked and trained in the performing arts internationally and graduated from East 15 Acting School in summer 2011 with an MFA Acting International. Tessa Hart also holds a BA Theatre Studies from the Free University of Berlin (2009) and is fluent, as well as having worked, in English, German and French. Their work has a focus on participation and empowerment for people who experience structural discrimination / are socially and culturally marginalised and/or underrepresented.
