Mark Provencher
Born in Louisville, Kentucky - Mark grew up moving around the Midwest with extended stops in Michigan, Minnesota - where he also attended The University of Minnesota, and more recently Chicago, Illinois. His career in the entertainment industry began working for "The Oprah Winfrey Show," when a twist of fate led to Mark becoming one of the audience warm-up guys for the show - still one of his favorite gigs. Around this time he began studying improvisation at The Second City in Chicago before deciding to relocate to Los Angeles. Mark continued his training at the famed Beverly Hills Playhouse where he also starred in one acts for The Katselas Theatre Company. Some notable on-camera appearances along the way include the bong smoking adult party-goer in Superbad, the dreamer-husband in Kia's 2012 Superbowl spots with Adrianna Lima and Mötley Crüe, and network TV appearances on Love Bites, The Mentalist and CSI. His short film "The Ricochet," the first project he wrote in addition to starring in, was an official selection at the Los Angeles Shorts Film Festival and The Other Venice Film Festival. He is married to entertainment lawyer, Jennifer Provencher and lives in the Venice neighborhood of Los Angeles.
