Michael Paul King
Michael Paul King can be seen acting opposite Julia Roberts as the famous 70s talk show host Mike Douglas in the STARZ limited series, Gaslit (also starring Sean Penn). He has recently received several Film Festival nominations (and one win) for his performance as Nate Henderson in the film Sitting Duck. Michael is a multi-award winning theater actor and a recipient of the Morton Brown Scholarship in Drama from The University of Texas. During this time he was also the lead singer and lyricist for the rock band, December, and the host of a late night local cable music program. After moving to Hollywood, he wrote for television and produced ancillary content for countless major motion pictures and high-profile television shows. Returning to acting, he has since studied with The Groundlings, The Upright Citizens Brigade (UCB), and legendary multi-Golden Globe / Emmy / Academy Award nominated actor, James Caan. He has starred in numerous short films in recent years but has found his best success in many national commercials for Kohl's, Heineken, Boost Mobile, Dish Network, and Skechers, among others. His highest profile commercial for Wayfair features Michael in a James Bond style parody ran on major outlets for several years. He is a proud recipient of Society for Voice Arts and Sciences (SOVAS) Voice Arts Award for Best Voiceover for work he performed for Netflix. The Amazon Prime movie Come Into Your Own marks Michael's first co-staring role in a feature-length film.
