Merlynda Sol
Merlynda Mistral Sol was born at the Long Island Jewish Hospital in New York City, and she lived in Brentwood, Long Island till the age of 5. During this time her parents, Debora Thomas and Stuart De Usoz started a folk rock band called Shaman. They frequently played shows in NYC and the surrounding area during the early 1990s. Her mother, Debora, also worked as a magician's assistant. Growing up Merlynda was regularly "with the band" or part of the show. In the mid 1990s Merlynda moved to Pine Plains, NY with her mother. At this time, Debora formed her own variety magic, comedy, and music show and created her stage name of Abracadebora. Merlynda at the age of 7, was Abcracdebora's assistant and had the stage name Sweetie Pie. They were represented by Hollywood Pop Gallery and performed at hundreds of corporate, celebrity, and private parties. Going into her teen years, Merlynda continued theater with school and the local community. She graduated high school with the class superlative "Class Actress." At the University of Arizona she continued theater clubs with a focus on activism and humanitarian issues.
In 2019 she filmed "Smiling Woman" which has gone on to be a popular series on Youtube.
Merlynda loves all things that have to do with magic, myth, and lore, and she also has a special love for horror and sci-fi.
