Skye Folsom
Skye Folsom is an American actor known for his versatility. He is equally at home playing the leading man, an ominous villain or the comedic relief character. Skye fell in love with the arts at a young age. His mom (an art teacher) taught him to always say "yes" to art. Skye trained as an actor most of his life. Acting in plays as a child, shooting home films and taking drama classes.
Skye became enthralled with the spot light during his professional MMA career where he had fights in the US, Canada and Thailand. He put on high level fights with exciting walk-outs and passionate post-fight speeches. He excelled in the promoting of the fights and always loved being in front of the camera.
In 2017, he got injured during training, which gave him time to reflect. He realized that he was more in love with performing than fighting. He immediately jumped in to film acting and took the same drive and passion that he channeled as a professional fighter and directed it towards his acting career.
Skye studied intensively for two years (2017-2019) under Todd Babcock (Babcock Studios) as well as becoming trained in the Ian Tucker Method under David Jahns (Groudlings). He is a member of the Working Artist Group and is coached by Krista Gano.
He is also studies on-camera technique under Laura Carson. He maintains residences in Denver, Santa Fe and Los Angeles and travels widely for his acting work.
