Sébastien Blanc was born in Lugano, Switzerland, and he is the last one of four brothers. He's been making films since he was 10, directing and writing small short films until 2011, when he moved to Bologna (Italy) to study screenwriting and directing at the Accademia del Cinema di Bologna. This brought him to study for a short period at UCLA (USA) and then moved on to do a BA in filmmaking at Met FIlm School which is based at Ealing Studios in London (UK). He graduated in 2015 with first honours. He now spends his time between London and Lugano where, with his colleague and friend Marco Stegmaier, he created a production company - Lakeside Pictures.
