Bitu Thomas
Bitu is an actress who came into acting late- in her mid 30s. She discovered her love for acting in school directing one act plays and starring in them. She has done theatre, feature films and short films with lead and supporting actress roles. She rediscovered her passion when she was cast as a secondary lead actress in the feature film 'White' shot in London in 2015. Since then she has thrust herself fully into acting. She has studied at Identity School of Acting and RADA where she has worked with leading film directors. She was also a dance volunteer for the London 2012 Paralympics opening ceremony.
Bitu also has been a filmmaker and scriptwriter. During the May 2020 Lockdown she scripted , directed and filmed her own short horror film using only mobile phone cameras and free editing software across 3 countries UK, India and Hong Kong. This short film has won many awards at various film festivals such as Los Angeles Motion picture Film festival, Madras Independent Film festival and is an official selection of the First time Filmmaker Film festival hosted by Pinewood Studios (James Bond ) in UK.
